Be Offended



There are at least 2 musical groups named Tankist. 1) Thrash metal band from Estonia. Tankist is uncompromising thrash metal: time and place are of no significance – music, honesty and ferocity are what matter. We have rumbled with legends like Havok, Arcturus, The Exploited, Loits etc, played at our homeland’s leading metal festival Hard Rock Laager and we came out on top at the national rock and metal band competition FUBAR 666 where we subjugated more than 20 great groups. 2014 saw the beginning of our concert activity and the release of our homemade demo „Mortuary“, soon to be put on cassette tape by a local label Trash Can Dance. In 2015 a merciless speed-thrash EP „Be Offended“ was unleashed. After shooting out a few singles and a cover for the international project „Trench Art – A Tribute To Loits“, we've reached our savage debut LP “Unhuman” - nine stabbing thrash metal tracks that are led by the spirit of old-school, saying fearlessly what's wrong with the modern world, injected with adventurous violence and miserable thoughts. The hundred riff long journey surges along the edge, staying true to the principle: “fucking-fist-in-the-face songs, brutally honest whole”.
