Torqux is a UK based Dubstep producer duo created by cousins James Jimmy Tippet and David Dave Lee. Jimmy originally started Torqux as a solo project but later met up with fellow basshead Twist (Dave) and started producing under the moniker Torqux & Twist. In 2012 the two decided to both join as a full time duo under the Torqux name. After touring Europe and North America Torqux started to branch out into other genres and struck big with a track entitled 'Blazin'. This attracted the attention of Chase & Status and eventually led to a big release for the guys on MTA Records featuring Lady Leshurr. This track went on be one Torqux' biggest records, reaching the BBC 1xtra B List, Number 1 on MTV Base Chart Show, Number 3 in the Music Week Urban 30 Chart, featuring in a number of TV shows and even being played by the BBC Symphony Orchestra live at the BBC Proms. Torqux & Twist decided in 2015 that they wanted to continue making bass heavy music so they formed Tru Fonix, an Alias for all their house related music. Torqux returned to the dubstep scene with the 'Project T' EP on Uplink Audio and released 'The Wolf' EP on Firepower Records in 2016 with further releases on Never say die's Black label and Circus Records.
