Turf is a rock band from Argentina. It was formed in December 1995 & since then they been playing all around in Buenos Aires. Their first album was edited in August 1997 and it was called Una pila de vida. In this album Charly García participated in the song Despiole generacional. In that year they played with Los Ratones Paranoicos in the festival Buenos Aires Vivo. The two promo songs for this album were Casanova y Crónica Te Ve. In 1998 they played supporting The Rolling Stones in their concert in River Plate Stadium, in Buenos Aires. After ending their contract with Universal, they have edited their second album, called Siempre libre helped by Musimundo Records Company. Also in this album was Charly García collaborating in the track Esa luz. In 2001 they participated in the concert at Campo Argentino de Polo, with R.E.M. & Oasis. In this year they editated their third album with the name Turfshow, which song Loco un poco was one of the most played that summer in Argentina. Their fourth album Para mi, para vos was released in 2004 & the song No se llama amor was played everywhere giving them more popularity. Read more on Last.fm.
