Cherry Bomb / Eclipse
There are at least four artists using the alias Type. 1. Type is a Seattle, Washington Hip-Hop artist. He performs a mix of comedy/rap and has been involved in the Hip-Hop scene since about 2004. Type is closely associated with Grieves, the two MC's also form the group Illegitimate Children. Type also has another side project with another Seattle artist Kublakai, The Let Go. 2. Type (Zé Nando Pimenta) Zé Nando Pimenta’s alter-ego used first in 2001 at the launch of his debut album released by Nylon. It was also that year that his music “Slow Process” appeared in a “DJ Kicks” compilation mixed by “Nightmares On Wax.” He returned with a new album in 2005 in collaboration with the poet singer Kalaf from which came the album “Kalaf + Type - A Fuga…” this one already released by Meifumado. A blend of organic beats machined by hip-hop attitudes, samples taken from the original context, or overdubs of synthesizers programmed to make a groove out of anything. 3. Type (Vladimir Grankin) Also using the artist alias Alongshore, Latvian Trance artist Vladimir Grankin has released four tracks under this alias so far, Against the Waves and Desert Moon on Real Legacy Records, Mantra on the Bonzai sublabel Green Martian, and Salute To Summer on Shah-Music Digital, each accompanied by a pair of remixes. There are also a couple of remixes available, including the remix of UCast - Stream. 4. Type (WhyAy/Fly98) A hip-hop group. As main producer Fly 98 and main vocalist/lyricist WhyAy started joking about making music together they quickly discovered their chemistry and talent. Whilst coming up with ideas for their first tracks they stumbled upon a young lyricist/producer named Scramble, completing the group now know as Type. Type started off with their first track 'Heights', which remains their most popular track thus far. The group's main characteristics are quality, positivity and BARS. After not much longer than a month Type followed up there first track with their second single ‘A’dam and Evenings’, which gives out a more chill vibe than their previous track. For their third track 'Big Mac' created what could only be described as a club banger! Read more on Last.fm.
