VikingGuitar is the online moniker of Erik Peabody (me,) guitarist from Santa Cruz, CA. I've played guitar for over twelve years and have done sound recording for over five years. I've always focues on heavy metal and have played in a variety of bands. After abandoning the idea of ever making it famous I've done home recording and solo musical projects with the mentality that if I keep writing music, people will eventually listen. My current main project is EYE OF I. As a lifetime video game player and overall unapologetic nerd, I've always loved the timeless music of video games, especially early Nintendo games. The VikingGuitar project is an homage to and celebration of that music. I'm not the first to remix video game music, but I can definitely offer some hard-rocking renditions to get your gamer blood pumping. Needless to say, I claim no copyright for covering music written by other people. Most of the VikingGuitar album was written by other people, though the arrangements, solos, and various other tidbits are original. If you know the music, you'll know what's what.
