WYS, also known by his real name Valentin Villarubias, is a lo-fi beats producer hailing from Besançon, France. Alongside his solo work, he is involved in two side projects, namely Lily Island and Later In June, the latter being a collaboration with his wife. WYS made his debut in the music scene with the release of his first album, Ecume, on September 11, 2015. Three years later, on the same date, he unveiled his second album titled Take Care, further establishing his presence in the lo-fi beats genre. On September 6, 2017, WYS uploaded good morning me to Soundcloud, showcasing his early contributions to the platform. Throughout his career, WYS has engaged in creative collaborations with several artists, including Sweet Medicide, Naga, Hoffy Beats, Ouska, Hoogway, and No Spirit, adding diversity and unique elements to his musical projects.
