The band defined its sound at the beginning of 2002 when Oliver Sampson joined Martina Braig, Matthas Lang, and Yann Zimmerman. wooDLawn has played over 200 shows in well-known venues in Berlin, Hamburg, Nuernberg, Munich, Vienna, and many more. Furthermore they've played open-air festivals like Leipzig's Wave Gothik Treffen, Castle Rock in Mülheim an der Ruhr, and Herbstnächte on Burg Rabenstein and others. They've also shared the stage with Subway to Sally, Tanzwut, Die Happy, Crux Shadows and Letzte Instanz and others. wooDLawn's debut CD save my soul was released in Fall of 2000, with a CD-Single for waiting quickly to follow. wooDLawn can be found on various samplers and magazine CDs. Magazine and webzine interviews have appeared all over Europe, as has radio airplay in all of Germany.
