Get out / Damage - Single
Xylym, real name Mitchell Hughes, is a drum and bass / neurofunk producer born in Jersey and now based in London. He got his start at just 14 when he picked up his first copy of FL Studio. It didn’t take long for him to develop a real passion for music production. Thanks to some influence from his friends, he soon stumbled upon drum and bass, and as soon as he got a taste of the fast-paced, technical side of the genre, he knew he had to dive in and start creating his own tracks. This love for the technical side of music eventually brought Mitch to London, where he took music production more seriously. It was there that he first took on the stage name Asylum, before later evolving into Xylym, as we know him today. Xylym has steadily made a name for himself in the past few years. Between curating successful club nights on his native island, bagging releases on esteemed labels including Close 2 Death and Neurofunk, what else?, and even landing a coveted guest mix slot on BBC Jersey.
