This track was written back in the 80's and was revived around 2008 years ago by the band "The Motherfolkers" It was one of the last songs added to their set list before the band split up to pursue other projects. The percussionist, John Woledar and the bassist, Greg Emigh, both previous members of "The Motherfolkers" and current members of "Nobody's Station", performed "Street Lights" with Carol at the album release party. Coming from the Greater Los Angeles area, Carol lives in Pomona, just 30 miles east of L.A. Carol Annette had been song-writing and performing for over 30 years in a number of bands including Four Parts, Metal of the Road, The Motherfolkers, and Technopagan. The styles ranged from, blues based rock, folk rock, singer/songwriter, to a recent dabbling in electronic dance music.To Hell and Forward is her first and only solo album.
