KATAMARI is the 4th song on Femtanyl’s 2023 EP Chaser. It was previously released as a single and majorly contributed to Femtanyl’s popularity, becoming her first hit after it appeared in Sournoodl’s short film BOLAVLK/WEREAWOLF. It’s themes appear to largely pertain to suicide and self harm, or more generally a bad mental state. Read more on Last.fm.

femtanyl is a Toronto-based jungle and digital hardcore act consisting of Noelle Mansbridge (vocals, production) and Skyla Hearsethief (DJ, design), known for music which often features depressive or nostalgic themes. The project made its debut with the release of “S33K H3LP” in May 2023. Multiple singles were released throughout the year, before the project’s debut EP CHASER was released in August.
