Chillhop Essentials Winter 2017



Leavv is a chillhop and lofi producer from Germany. His musical style has been described by music blog Stereofox as silky, chillhop-driven lullabies, often blended with gentle piano melodies - the kind of music one might consider 'an emotional blanket'. Leavv began his musical journey by playing piano and guitar before acquiring the Ableton software in 2012.Although he received piano lessons during his formative years, he discontinued them during his teenage years. In November 2016, Leavv released his debut album titled memoirs through Vinyl Digital GmbH. Shortly thereafter, in January 2017, he followed up with his second album, recreation, also released by Vinyl Digital GmbH. September 2018 saw the release of Leavv's album Mind Garden through Chillhop Records. This album embarks on a thematic exploration encompassing introspection, discovery, and the quest for a sense of belonging. Maintaining his collaboration with Chillhop Music, Leavv presented his eight-song follow-up, Tales of a Flowing Forest, in November 2020. Read more on Last.fm.
