there are 2 artists: 1.) mami started in barcelona as a project for the experimentation of digital sound using PureData and analogue synthesizers. This execises led to the abuse of dense textures, noises and glitches blended with small layers of percussion. As mami moved to medell..n (colombia) things changed a little, the sound got clearer, the beats more present an a strange addiction to Miami Bass and Rotten Elektro soundz emerged. Then in 2005 came a first ..mami EP... 8 songs that summarized the work up to that time, a couple of gigs and the invitation to join the Series krew that had started in colombia a couple of years earlier. By the end of 2005 mami got invited to play in the encuentro electr..nico del gait..n along with other cool south american, canadian and european artists. Influenced by UFO sightings, new drum machines and the wild experience of making music in countries with strange democacies, mami works right now on new tracks that will definitely rock. 2.) M.A.M.I. (capitalised letters), is japanese female singer. She started practicing singing & vocal exercising when she had 13 years, her voice range is really high, her debut was with japanese r&b style songs. in 2012. she relased mini-album '眠りにつくまで'.
