The Thrush band was a side project of Jim & K-ball, BAss/vox & Vox players in the Somerset ska punk band 'The FluF. Wanting to play something a little different, & to play different instruments they started writing & recording songs under the name Thrush. During 2003 Jim was lent an Md-4 track recorder by New Deal for musicians & they recorded the 'Itchy Scratchness' E.P! The original mini disks were returned to the Job Centre & the CD mixes were lost forever. The only recordings were mixed onto tape by King Ginga whilst producing the recordings. The Thrushband didn't do much after these recordings as other projects were started (Cockney Lobster/Sea Street Urchins) & songs were introduced to 'The FluF' (Up in flames). In 2007 the G.O.M! band was formed & in many ways is the follow on from Thrush. Read more on Last.fm.
