タカツキ [Takatsuki] is a Japanese hip-hop musician signed to nrecords. In 2008, he released his latest album, 東京・京都・NY. Takatsuki is famous for combining rap and the wooden orchestra bass that he plays. Started out in New York in 1999 and upon returning to his home to Kyoto activated his professional musical career. After his homecoming to Japan formed Smrytrps (his current group) and moved to Tokyo to strengthen his musical connections. Debuted with Hip-Hop Music his first album later in 2001.
