Borealia

Borealia is the solo project of Fishing For Pigeons guitarist Travis Lausch. It combines the atmospherics of bands like Rush and Devin Townsend with the compositional approach of Steve Vai and Frank Zappa, and adds the heaviness of Meshuggah at times. Though most of the tracks were recorded in 2006 and 2007, Travis finally chose January 2010 to release the "Home" EP for free via Last.FM and Facebook, among other sources. Read more on Last.fm.
