Delate

Delate is a hardcore punk band from Plovdiv, Bulgaria, formed in 2002. Everything started back in March, 2002. Lots of enthusiasm and energy – more than talent and music skills at the time for sure. The original line up was: Misho and Angel (vocals), Georgi 'Muhata' (on guiatars), Tani (bass), and Pesho (drums). Soon the band parted ways with the original drummer because of musical and personal discords. Ogi took his place and Delate recorded two demo albums with him: 2003 - Direktno ot diviya 2004 - Greatest sHits, which is available for free listening on last.fm In 2005 a new member joined the band – Itzo, who was playing guitar in local hardcore band, Razvod, who had major influence upon Delate. Soon after that Stoyan 'Malkiya' replaced Ogi and with him and Itzo they could finally make the music they always wanted – new-school hardcore with fast old school elements. In the end of 2007 Delate recorded their first LP - 'Hardcore & Shtangi', which was released in the beginning of 2008 and is also available on last.fm. Currently the band is promoting the album and doing what they like the most – writing new fast songs and playing as many shows as possible! On 23.11.08 Delate will support New York hardcore legends Madball for their second show in Sofia, Bulgaria.
