Hiob

Hiob (b. 1981 in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg as Julius Endler) is a German rapper who has been active since the mid-1990s and is currently signed to the Berlin-based independent label Spoken View. Until 2008 he called himself V-Mann, he is also known as a beat producer under the pseudonym Hieronymuz. From his point of view, Hiob is mainly influenced by Big L, Wu-Tang Clan, DJ Premier and the Tony Touch productions of the 1990s. Just like the rap music from New York, Hiob's productions are also based on samples. He mainly uses rare production music as well as soul and funk. Read more on Last.fm.
