Hummano

In June of 2010, Fer and Adrian (guitar and drummer for Natural Born Stonehead) joined Sito, Alfon and Prada (vocals, guitar and bass player for MyAlterEgo) to start writing material that wouldn't fit in their other projects. Hummano’s first and main influence was Bury Your Dead, with very low tuned guitars and simple yet direct songs, demolishing breakdowns, catchy riffs and guttural voices/screams, although their music had nothing to do with the band. After a few years of talking about the project, Fernando Diez (guitar), Adrian Arteche (drums), Thomas ‘Sito’ Shutter (vocals), Alejandro Prada (bass) and Alfonso Valladolid (guitar), formed the band in August 2010. The line-up suffered a few changes as Alfonso and Prada left the band and Pablo Fernandez (bass) joined to continue with the project as a four-piece. In present days, Alejandro Prada tours with the band as the second live guitarist. At the beginning of 2011, the band recorded their first two song demo, titled Pordetralus, in Alejandro Prada’s studio, AllSeeingEye, in Madrid (Spain). Hummano started shaping their image where they combine sarcastic humour in their videos, album covers, posters and photo-shoots, with their serious music and lyrics. In February 2013, the band released their first LP called Is The Shit, which was widely accepted by the critics and scene in Spain. The album was recorded in AllSeeingEye studios and The Metal Factory studios, in Madrid, between July and December of 2012, and was produced by the band and Alejandro Prada of AllSeeingEye Records. During the remaining of 2013 and first half of 2014, the band toured Spain, playing with bands such as Hatebreed, Napalm Death, Devil In Me, Carnivore Dirpsosopus, Brutality Will Prevail, Borderlands, Dawn Of Justice, Merge, Shoot The Girl First, Thirteen Bled Promises, Dawn Of The Maya, Stained Blood, Above The Hate or Decades Of Despair. Theyended the touring cycle in August 2014 with 4 major festivals, Resteless Fest in Portugal, O’Marisquiño in Spain and the biggest metal festival in Spain, Resurrection Fest (Testament, Megadeth. Down, Gojira, Amon Amarth, Sick Of It All, Ignite, Converge, Architects, Raised Fist, Red Fang, Nofx, Five Finger Death Punch, Carcass, Watain, Crowbar, Suffocation, Obituary, etc…). Hummano has continued writing their awaited second album, We Hate You All!!!, which, again, they recorded at The Metal Factory studios and AllSeeingEye studios in Madrid, and released on the 30th of October 2014. The album comprises 9 new songs and a “special” Katy Perry cover song. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
