With millions of Soundcloud and YouTube plays, not to mention a string of Beatport Number 1's, Megalodon is no stranger to the dubstep scene. Since forming in 2008, the San Francisco based producer has seen ever growing demand, touring both North America and Europe on a regular basis, along with DJ support from major players like Skrillex, Skism, Zeds Dead, Borgore, Skream, Benga and Hatcha to name a few. Previously signed to the former label Never Say Die records, responsible for building the careers of A-list acts such as Zomboy, Skism, MUST DIE! and others, few can deny the momentum Megalodon has gained in recent years. His technical mixing style, alongside his dedication to making forward-thinking tracks with a hint of Dubstep's roots has helped to define him as a standout act. 2) Megalodon (named after a song from Mastodon's Leviathan) was spawned by the creative minds of Ruan Jordaan and Nuri Grobbelaar. After discussing the project for a few years it has finally been given life. Together with Thomas Theron and Alex Toua the band has become an entity of its own in a very short period of time. Finally with the addition of Louis Henn on guitar in November 2010 the line up was completed. Megalodon brings you a (planet) crushing 8 string metal sonance. 3) Megalodon is a braindance/idm producer named Jack Cooper.
