ULD

ULD is an Oslo-based girl trio - Une on vocals, Lucia on piano, and Dagny on accordion. After spending 3 years together at Foss High School, they first started jamming at Toneheim Folk High School - which worked out quite well. Since then, they have continued to brew and enjoy making and playing music together. They strive to write close and honest lyrics and complement them with harmonies and melodies from the heart. Their ensemble gives the music its own expression, which is not easily described by genre, but they are often drawn to a kind of indie-folk-pop music format. In addition to writing their own lyrics, they are also inspired by Norwegian poets, such as Jon Fosse and Gunvor Hofmo, and they try to bring new modern life to their powerful poems.
