dust|box

Dust|box project emerged (unnamed at that point) around 1999 in the minds of Gish and Dust. Hybernated in the shadow of our other projects (namely : ios) until the summer of 2003 when during a garage jam session their ideas started to focus. Weird, dusty-like waveforms (which were a product of poor recording quality to begin with) became the base for a name they've acquired. Dust|box is a box of ideas, living and breathing cardboard monster, residing in every attic. It gathers lost thoughts, old books and rusted appliances. The combination is expressed in sound. Right now dust|box has split into two other groups (echo and square extension), but continues to exist as a side project. There are no shows scheduled in any near future and probably there won't ever be any. There is a slight chance that the unreleased tracks from first sleep will see the light of day in 2009 on a short, 3 track EP. No title yet. Read more on Last.fm.
