Loulalee was formed in June 2023 in Tokyo. Loulalee is a two-person home recording group consisting of Ishida, a composer and university student who handles everything from songwriting to mixing, and Lou, who also works as a photographer. The two met in their university music club and began creating music inspired by Alvvays and Fazerdaze, aiming for an indie pop sound. They handle all aspects of production—songwriting, recording, arranging, and music videos—entirely on their own, self-producing everything. Read more on Last.fm.
