The title of ‘Gram Rock’ is both a play on the musical genre glam rock as well as a reference to crack rocks. Talbot takes on the voices of two drugged-up bankers as he explains to All Things Loud: "It’s an imagined Dadaist scenario of two hedge fund city boys at a funeral off their face on coke." Idles are an English post-punk band formed in Bristol, England in 2009. The success of the band’s debut EP “Welcome” did not go unnoticed and so it happened that BBC Introducing in the Southwest honoured the group as “Band of The Year” in 2012.
