Randy Findell, better known as brakence, is a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Columbus, OH. As a teenager, brakence began to produce his own music, and after dropping out of college, he began to focus solely on his music career. His music is lateral to the hyperpop and digicore scenes, while also blending styles of glitch pop, emo, electronic, and hip-hop. He released his label debut, punk2, in March 2020, featuring the single dropout. In December 2022, brakence released his second full length project, hypochondriac, preceded by 5 singles.
