sauceintherough, originally known by fans as “stylish”, is brakence’s first release since the drop of his sophomore album, punk2, earlier in the year. The track was first teased by brakence during an Instagram livestream on April 29, 2020. Nearly two months later, brakence confirmed that the track would be released and teased an accompanying music video. When the track was first released, it was put onto a seperate album called punk2 w/ sauce. However, streaming services now label sauceintherough as a bonus track at the end of punk2. Randy Findell, better known as brakence, is a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Columbus, OH. As a teenager, brakence began to produce his own music, and after dropping out of college, he began to focus solely on his music career. His music is lateral to the hyperpop and digicore scenes, while also blending styles of glitch pop, emo, electronic, and hip-hop. He released his label debut, punk2, in March 2020, featuring the single dropout. In December 2022, brakence released his second full length project, hypochondriac, preceded by 5 singles.
